Terms & Conditions

Policy Regarding Commissioned Art

  • I accept 1-2 commission per month depending on the size and scope of the project, and other factors.

  • Months when I am attending many shows, I will not be accepting commissions.

  • Holidays Request: November 1 is my deadline for accepting commissions to be ready in time for Christmas.

  • Once a commission is accepted I will email you a simple agreement outlining the scope of the project.

  • Framing is an additional cost and will be listed in the agreement if requested.

  • Shipping will be determined at the time it is shipped and will be billed separately.

  • Delivery cost is $5.00 per every 20 miles, and only within a 50 mile radius of Amherst, VA.

  • Virginia Sales Tax will be charged.

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to start.

  • The project will be finished within 30 days of receiving the deposit and the signed agreement.

  • Final payment is expected when you receive pictures of the finished piece and prior to shipping, or at the time of delivery.

  • I do not give refunds or accept returns for commissioned art.

  • I am not responsible for damages that happen when shipping. For bigger pieces I use FedEx and have them do the packaging so that they assume the liability for all damages. When shipping USPS, the package will be insured for the cost of the piece.
